Ali Sangster is an experienced professional in the energy industry with over 17 years of expertise in the areas of technology, data, and analytics. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Intelligence and Strategy Lead for S&P Global- Commodity Insights, where she works cross-functionally across ENR/Commodity Insights and collaborates with other parts of S&P Global business lines to identify growth opportunities through innovation, new technologies, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and new market segments. In her role, Ali partners with operations, product, sales, and customers to identify and create additional value with S&P's global data assets. She focuses on driving innovative solutions that are centered around data, analytics, technology, integration, interoperability, key differentiators, and process. Her goal is to bring about positive change that helps drive and supports the continued growth of S&P Global-Commodity Insights and its customers.
Ali is also a Board Member of the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) organization. She serves as the PPDM Chair for the Strategic Committee and is currently a member of the CDO Houston Inner Circle.
